DINGYONG uses a four-step process on every order: sample confirmation before production, pre-shipment inspection of the finished goods, third-party laboratory testing arranged on request, and factory audits or live video inspections for buyers who want to see the line. Inspection records and quality documents are available on request, and you may nominate your own inspector.
The four checks, in order
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Sample confirmation | A sample is made to the agreed specification and approved by you before production starts |
| Pre-shipment inspection | Finished goods are checked against the approved sample before packing |
| Third-party testing | A laboratory can be arranged on request for the tests your market requires |
| Factory audit | On-site visits or live video inspections are welcome; see Visit Our Factory |
The approved sample is the single most useful document in this process. Once it is signed off, weight, balance, finish and print colour all have a physical reference that both sides can compare against — which is far more reliable than describing them over a message thread.
What to check on the sample
- Weight and balance — pick up each piece; a set that feels light in the hand rarely sells as premium.
- Edges and tines — run a cloth along the fork tines and the spoon rim; there should be no burrs.
- Finish — check the mirror polish and any PVD colour under daylight, not just under studio lighting.
- Engraving and print — confirm logo depth and position, and the exact colour of any printed box or insert card.
- Packing — assemble the set in its box to confirm the insert holds every piece without rattling.
Put the specification in writing
The most common first-order mistake is ordering “stainless steel cutlery” without a specification. Record at least: product type and set composition, steel grade, thickness or weight, finish, solid or hollow handle, and packaging style. If you are unsure where to start, send a photo of a product you already sell and the market you sell it in — a factory can translate that into a specification.

Questions buyers also ask
Can I arrange third-party testing?
Yes. Third-party laboratory testing can be arranged on request, and inspection records and quality documents are available on request. Tell us which standard or test your market requires when you send the enquiry.
What should be written into the specification before production?
At minimum: product type and set composition, steel grade, thickness or weight, finish, solid or hollow handle construction, and packaging. Recording these in writing makes the approved sample a clear reference for both sides.
